Our very own Executive Director, Audra O’Connell, was named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 under 40 class for 2017. O’Connell was one of 260 nominees for this year’s program. The 2017 40 Under 40 class represents the future of community leadership in southeastern Wisconsin. These individuals really stood out for what they have accomplished so far and the difference they are making in the community. This is the 25th year the Milwaukee Business Journal has honored Milwaukee’s up-and-coming leaders.

Since 1976, Walker’s Point Youth and Family Center has been focused on meeting the needs of runaway, homeless, and other troubled youth and their families from Milwaukee’s diverse communities by providing services to empower youth, help them resolve personal and family problems, strengthen family relationships, and support safe and stable homes.
